Retreats
FRESHMAN MANDATORY DAY RETREATS (2008-2009) Availability: 4 per year Scheduled dates:
Location: Holy Rosary Parish Center, 80 Bay St., Taunton, MA Cost: $25 (This includes dinner. Brownbag lunch must be brought.) Time: 8:00 AM Saturday until 10:00 PM Saturday Transportation: Transportation for the retreat at Holy Rosary is the responsibility of the parents. I strongly encourage you to form car pools so that you do not have to make the trip to Holy Rosary twice in one day. The retreat begins at approximately 8:00 AM and will end promptly at 10:00 PM. Please be on time. Directions will be given to the students two weeks prior to the retreat and are posted on this website. Maximum # of students per retreat: 50 Retreats will be directed by Carol Sypko, Retreat Director of the school, assisted by a team consisting of two faculty members and a number of Junior and Senior students. Retreats consist of group exercises, activities, witnesses, prayer, discussions, Liturgy, etc. Students will be required to attend a mandatory meeting approximately two weeks before their selected retreat date and will be informed of specifics to bring, receive forms to be filled out, get the directions to the parish center, etc. SIGN - UPS Each student should select a date that is most convenient for him or her in their current schedule of sports, cheerleading, any other extra-curricular activities, or family events they may plan to participate in throughout the year. To insure that they are able to attend the same retreat as their friends, they should come and sign up as a group since each retreat has a limited number of students. To sign up: Students are to give Ms. Sypko their name, the selected retreat date and the $25 in the form of cash or check (payable to Coyle & Cassidy). THE DEADLINE FOR SIGN-UPS IS OCTOBER 10th - sign up as soon as possible to secure your first choice! UPPERCLASSMAN RETREATS (2008-2009) Three optional one-day retreats are offered for upperclassmen.
