Coyle and Cassidy campus’ life is an active, spirit-filled environment offering our middle and high school students a wide-range of age appropriate activities, clubs, and social events that allow them to explore their interests, share their gifts and talents, and develop healthy relationships. We provide a safe, caring, environment where students become actively engaged in their community and make lasting memories.

  • Middle School Clubs and Organizations

    Art Club

    The middle school Art Club provides students with the opportunity for exploration of art media. Students will be creating art work.

    HS Art Club

    Gr. 8 Only – Art Club provides the opportunity for visual artists to get together to work on current projects, or to develop new ideas using sketchbooks. It is also an opportunity for students not currently enrolled in art to continue their artistic development.

    Ministry Club

    Middle school campus ministry students will plan prayer services, masses, and participate in service projects.

    Choir

    The middle school choir focuses on learning and performing music. This group fosters community building/collaboration.

    HS Select Choruses  – Gr. 8 Only

    This is small all-women’s group that seeks to perform music of all styles at an advanced level.

    Club Green/Recycling Club

    The Green Club hopes to heighten awareness about our collective need to reduce waste. We help facilitate the proper disposal of items within the school and work to encourage other to do so.

    Dance Team – Gr. 8 Only

    This is an after school club for dancers (grades 8-12) of all skill levels and backgrounds! Students will perform in a February showcase and rallies.

    Debate Team

    Middle school students learn debate techniques, persuasion, and logic. Debate Team competes in the Massasoit League Speakers Union.

    Drama Club

    This club teaches students about theater and is a community builder. The group performs a Christmas play.

    HS Drama Club – Gr. 8 Only

    The drama program presents a play each November, ranging from a classical tragedy to contemporary comedy. Students will work together as actors and stage crew.

    Food Pantry

    Since 1992, the Coyle Cassidy Food Pantry has provided grocery assistance for approximately 250 families on the last Saturday of the month. The Food Pantry’s simple mission is to help feed families with compassion and respect.

    Journalism Club

    This club teaches the skills of journalistic-style writing, general writing quality, and carries on the tradition of the Warrior Word.

    Math Team

    The Math Team is open to all middle school students who enjoy math, however, only 7th and 8th graders are eligible to complete in the Massasoit Math League Competitions. Meets take place during the school day. The first meet is in Rehoboth on January 26. The second meet is TBA.

    National Junior Honor Society

    The National Junior Honor Society recognizes outstanding middle school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. This group challenges students to participate in school activities and community service.

    Pep Band – Grade 8 Only

    This group plays music at home games as well as rallies and some away games. They serve to build school spirit.

    Photography Club – Grade 8 Only

    To give young shutterbugs and opportunity to explore photography techniques.

    Quiz Bowl Club

    The middle school Quiz Bowl Team works together to prepare strategies for successfully answering trivia questions in a competition setting. Each year, they compete in the Diocesan Quiz Bowl held at Pope John Paul II High School in Hyannis, MA.

    Robotics/Makers Club

    To learn how to design, build, and program Lego Robots and STEM related projects.

    Student Ambassadors

    This club helps to market the Warrior pride. Student Ambassadors are the face of Coyle and Cassidy at on campus and off campus events! You may be called upon to work Open House, give tours, visit area schools, or host a “Warrior for a Day.”

    Student Council

    Middle School Student Council is an organization responsible for fostering the growth of school spirit as well as the school mission.

    World Language Club – Grade 8 Only

    To promote an appreciation for a variety of world cultures and languages

    Yearbook

    To produce the middle school yearbook that serves as an archive of the school year.

  • High School Clubs and Organizations

    Art Club

    Art Club provides the opportunity for visual artists to get together to work on current projects, or to develop new ideas using sketchbooks. It is also an opportunity for students not currently enrolled in art to continue their artistic development.

    Board Game Club

    Play games including but not limited to Chess – Backgammon – Checkers for friendly competition.

    Book Club

    The high school Book Club is intended to foster a love for literature and discussion. Meetings will include book critique, literary questions, text related multi-media projects, and movie viewings of book to film adaptations. Students will be able to vote on which books will be discussed; they are welcome to participate every meeting or anytime a specific book sparks an interest.

    Campus Ministry

    Campus ministry seeks to foster the Gospel values of love, faith, hope, truth, joy, respect, integrity, prayer, mission, justice, peace, mercy/compassion and community in every member of the CC family through planned faith-based events, programs, service, and activities.

    CC Select Choir

    This is small all-women’s group that seeks to perform music of all styles at an advanced level.

    CC Singers

    This is a co-ed, small ensemble dedicated to learning and performing high quality music of all genres.

    CC Treble Choir

    This is an all-women’s group that seeks to perform music of all styles at an advanced level.

    The societies recognize excellence in the study of language.

    Mock Trial

    Mock Trial is a court room simulation activity. Students will compete with other school around the state.

    Model United Nations

    Model UN is an academic competition that simulates real-world debates on international relations, law, and politics. Students take on the role of foreign diplomats and debate the issues with other schools.

    National Art Honor Society

    The offer additional opportunities for student artists in roles of leadership and service. Members will be able to enter sponsored art competitions , select work for display in the school, and participate in art field trips.

    National Honor Society

    The National Honor Society of secondary schools is a national organization whose purpose is to foster enthusiasm for academic excellence and to promote a commitment to service, leadership, and the formation of good character.

    New England Math League

    This group provides challenging mathematical problems in order to enhance a student’s mathematical thinking. The NEML sponsors six contests each year. The exam takes 30 minutes. A follow-up session will be offered to review the exams for any student who is interested. This league offers challenging math problems to students of all levels.

    Pro-Life Club

    To spread awareness about the sanctity of life and foster a culture of life within our school and society; we attempt to carry this out by studying and discussing life issues; catechizing friends; reaching out to those in need; courageously speaking out when the sanctity of life is attacked; and supporting those fighting for the cause of life. We support these issues through prayer culminating with the Washington, D.C. March for Life in January.

    Shakespeareans of CC

    This group exists to help students appreciate Shakespeare’s language and characters by learning and performing Shakespearean monologues
    and sonnets for a school competition. Winners in the school competition receive awards from the National Endowment for the Arts and from the English Speaking Union. The winner of the English Speaking Union Award represents the school in a state-wide competition.

    Spring Musical Club

    This group exists to educate students in the many aspects of musical theater, culminating in performances in April.

    Writing Club/Literary Magazine

    To provide an environment where young authors can meet, discuss, seek advice on craft and style, find an outlet for their ideas and work, share a sense of camaraderie through authorship and love of reading and literature. We hope to offer a chance for students to self publish
    their work in a professional manner and share that work with an audience.

    Yearbook

    To learn layout techniques, photography, and how to use photo editing software to publish a bound book that archives four years of precious memories.
